The product, in the report: Uline 15” black exterior icemaker with energy efficiency 25 Lbs daily production/storage, under counter unit, 115 volts. Model U-BI98B-00A Serial #1956793050009
ULINE 15” Icemaker 25 lb capacity has paint coating peeling off and contaminating ice cubes, creating an ingestion hazard. Many flakes are small but some are getting larger and I am worried I have ingested them without knowing. I contacted ULine and they said there is nothing they are going to do about it since the product is out of warranty, but it was during Covid when I purchased it and did not receive for several months after purchase. I believe ULINE has a defective product since my last ULINE icemaker lasted 18 years with no issues.
