    A commercial ice maker from Euhomy was purchased 12/11/22. In attempting to resolve with the company, they are stating it is out of warranty, but have confirmed that hat the metal coating on the evaporator is coming off into the ice. Since the ice grid is a fixed, integral, non-removable part of the welded evaporator assembly piece in the ice maker, it cannot be replaced separately. I’ve requested a full replacement or refund and they are only willing to reimburse a portion of the cost saying the warranty has passed. They stated in their reply under normal conditions, these nickel metal flecks should not detach, however, they are. Their resolution is unsatisfactory and a major consumer product concern for ingestion.

    The product, in the report: EUHOMY counter top ice maker, Model IM-03S, Stainless steel

    I found a piece of metal in the ice basket of my counter top ice maker. About 1” long 1/4” wide and spiraling in shape. Looks like a piece from the ice auger. EUHOMY IM-03S. No injuries occurred.
