The product, in the report: Avanti countertop nugget ice maker.
I bought an Avanti countertop ice maker last year for home use. In September, I found small shards of metal mixed in with the ice. I reported it to the company and rather than investigating, they sent me a new unit. The new unit worked until December 25th, when it began dumping shards of metal in with the ice. I reported this to the company and they never responded. We were not injured, but if we hadn’t noticed the metal, we would have been.
