I few months ago I bought a Sunavo hotplate on Amazon. It has had occasional use in our kitchen. Two days ago the glass covering spontaneously blew apart! We had last used the hotplate several hours before and it was unplugged (and room temperature) when we heard a loud pop. We came into the kitchen and there was glass everywhere.
