The product, in the report: Electric Hot Plate Soldering Station

I bought an electric hot plate from Amazon. It was among the lowest prices for the specs I need. After purchasing it, I went to the description and comment section to see how others used it. I saw a review about fumes and smokes that could be a health hazard and might be violating several laws. I thought the user is exaggerating or may be it is bad luck. I tried it myself and what he described exactly happened. I started coughing and my eyes were itchy for a while so I ran to my backyard and left it there. The smokes were scary, I wish I had my phone at the time to capture a video. After few hours, I turned it on again but in open air and behind a glass door but no fumes this time (at least no visible fumes). I don’t know if this is a coincidence with spring/pollen allergy season but I have been coughing since, my eyes are itchy and my sinus is inflamed. I am going to have an appointment with my doctor soon. I hope you can help me identify if the fumes are toxic to provide my doctor with more info. Also, I hope you can pull this product off market to save others. There are similar copycats for this product as well. Kindly check the product and reviews in the link below. [REDACTED]
