The product, in the report: NAXBEY Warming Mat for Food extra large, Silicone Heating Mat For Food, 15”x31.6” Foldable Food Warming Mats for Countertops, Parties, and Daily Use with Timer and 9 Temperature Levels https://a.co/d/7JcAvJaw

I purchased from Amazon.com a food warming mat on 7/6/25 and it is either defective or labeled incorrectly for safety. It was same day delivery and I used it for a party we hosted that day. Now we have tens of thousands of dollars in damage due to a huge crack in our [REDACTED] island countertop. Thankfully it didnt catch the kitchen on fire. When touching the countertop, after seeing the crack, I and other attendees of our party could feel the extreme heat only on one side of the area beneath the mat while the other remained cool to the touch. Amazon offers no recourse other than refund or replace. I submitted a review with pictures on Amazon and as a result of that received an email from the seller also offering nothing more than a refund. A search of the 1-star review revealed 2 other cracked countertops. One was granite and I dont recall if the other mentioned the type of countertop. The only warning I found was to not use on marble countertops. Otherwise all of the advertising has the mat used on many surfaces. If I had used the one we received on some of the pictured surfaces there would surely have been a fire. There were over 40 people in attendance at this party. Only a few guests have been listed here though. I am happy to email a list of additional guests. Should the information be pertinent or necessary.
