Coffee Mug heater burned notebook and paper. Wife smelled smoke, we searched for source and finally found that she had laid her 3 ring binder on the coffee mug heater. The weight of the notebook had activated the coffee mug heater and it melted the plastic cover and started the cardboard cover smouldering, then started to heat and discolor the paper inside. No injuries, only loss was the binder and the coffee mug heater.
