The product, in the report: Counter top deep fryer

Purchased a brand new Hamilton Beach Deep Fryer for Christmas 2014. Model number 53033 Series A3641CE Using for the first time and put oil in to oil pan to heat. Oil pan was defective and once oil level was up to a certain height, hot oil began leaking out of the pan and all over the counter. This could have been a significant burn hazard if the oil had leaked down onto my legs or a pet.
