  1. No one hurt

Made Jun 4, 2020, sent to the company Jul 17, 2020, published by CPSC Jul 31, 2020

The product, in the report: 3.5 Liter deep fryer

The fryer basket is supposed to catch onto loops on the inside edge of the fryer. The consumer indicated that the parts of the basked that are supposed to attach to these loops, are not long enough. Therefore, when one lets go of the basket, the fryer can fall down forcefully and hit the users arm and injure them.

Essentially, the basket fits loosely on the fryers latches and does not seem secure. And detaches falling on consumers hand.

The consumer has used the fryer approximately 4 - 5 times and the basket fell and nearly hit his arm every single time he used it.

6/4/2020: Tel: The consumer called the firm, (Tel: 866-832-4843) and reported his concern to a rep. (name unknown). There rep. told him that they could not do anything for him. The consumer tried to explain his concerns in detail, but the rep. simply said they could not help him. The consumer asked if they had any other incidents and the rep. said not that he is aware of.
