The product, in the report: 15 cups Glass Percolator “The Perco Mate” for coffee
The handle caught fire, although, the package indicates that it has a “heat resistant handle.” There were significant flames and the proof is that there is soot all over my apartment. I will need to clean the walls, perhaps repaint, and empty the cabinets. We put the fire out with salt and then a wet cloth. I’m just grateful I got to it on time before it spread.
