The product, in the report: Silver and black coffee pot. 10 cup. built in grinder. thermal carafe. warming plate under carafe. programmable. http://www.cuisinart.com/discontinued/coffee_bar/dgb-600bc.html
Coffee pot was used in regular manner. Beans were ground in the built in grinder and the brew cycle started normally. Just after brew cycle ended, a burning rubber scent was smelled in office. After searching for the smell, white smoke was pouring out of the electrical cord hole. The machine was unplugged and taken outside to prevent any damage being done to the office building.
