The product, in the report: Gourmet’s oneMug coffee maker. Item# W14A4980. Model # WM-6101 SVC code 3174. Black in color Distributed by: Atico International USA, Inc. Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.
I purchases a Gourmets onemug coffee maker at Discount Drug mart. It is item #W14A4980. Model # WM-6101. SVC Code 3174. It is distributed by Atico International USA, Inc. In Ft. Lauderdale Florida.
The coffee maker works as promised, however, there are two items that need to be addressed. It has a small reusable filter basket and the directions say to use 4 tablespoons of coffee. That fills the basket to the top and it did overflow on me. (I tested it as it seemed as though that was way to much, it was.) The second and more serious , after the coffee is done brewing, I let it set for about a minute or so then open the lid to empty the grounds so they do not drip onto the base after I remove the cup. As soon as you open the lid, some of the remaining moisture drops back into the reservoir and there is a blast of steam that comes out of the lid. If I were a shorter person, that steam would have hit me in the face.
