The product, in the report: Faberwear 8 cup electric coffee pot,
I have a 8 cup Faberwear electric coffee pot. It is about 2 years old. While cleaning it the handle fell off. I don’t understand how the handle was attached to the pot. There is no hole where a screw goes into the body of the stainless steel pot. The handle has a indent in which there is a screw that goes into a small plate, but the plate nor screw goes into the body of the pot.
I feel very fortunate that this happened while I was cleaning the pot and not when I was pouring a hot cup of coffee.
This is unbelievable to me...but then again not, after all it is made in China.
