The product, in the report: Model # C7CDAAS3PD32 Serial # ZR003017 Cafe Smart Drip Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker Date Manufacturered : 12/01/2020

I purchased a coffee maker on 2/21/2022 from. Est Buy. Recently the bottom of the pot started chipping and releasing material into my coffee. This is a serious safety hazard for myself and my family and not a normal wear and tear. Myself, my wife, and kids have been consuming coffee that we make using this coffee machine and Im concerned that we ingested the pieces that chipped which could be harmful to us. We use this machine the way its supposed to be used and clean it periodically. I spoke to both Best Buy and GE and requested for a replacement but didnt take me seriously and mentioned that this is past the 1yr warranty. Im urging the consumer safety product commission to open an investigation on this product and refund myself and anyone affected by this. Also, Im requesting for recalling this product and fining the company if held liable.
