No one hurt Made Nov 9, 2019, sent to the company Dec 11, 2019, published by CPSC Dec 27, 2019
The product, in the report: Cordless electric kettle by Brentwood Appliances
New cordless electric kettle worked fine for the first two times. Brought water to boiling and then automatically shut off. Third time used and after it did not shut off, just kept boiling. The shut off failed and it appeared it would just keep heating after all the water boiled off which could start a fire or cause a burn.
