The product, in the report: Bella Dual Brew
This product just keeps heating the water in the reservoir and never switches to brew. The water boiled out and I unplugged it so there would be no dangerous outcome.

The product, in the report: Electric coffee maker
BELLA coffee maker item # 13659 UPC # 8-29486-136597 purchased at Target IS SUPPOSED TO SHUT OFF AUTOMATICALLY, but it does not! We took the first one back and replaced it with the same model and it did not turn off automatically either. Although it did not cause a fire, it would have the possibility to do so. We returned the second one as well.

No one hurt Made Jan 2, 2013, sent to the company Jan 25, 2013, published by CPSC Feb 15, 2013
The product, in the report: Bella Housewares Dots Collection 12-cup coffee maker
I purchased from Target, online, a Bella Housewares 12-cup coffee maker. The box it came in said “2-hour shutoff” and “auto shutoff.” The instruction manual under the heading “brewing coffee instructions” (page 6) said “Note: The coffee maker will turn OFF automatically after 2 hours.”
The first two times I used the coffee maker, I was surprised to find many hours later that the coffee maker’s blue light was still on and the pot was still hot. It clearly was not turning off automatically. When I called customer service for Bella, I was told that the coffee maker does NOT, in fact, turn off automatically and that the packaging and instructions were erroneous.
Imagine how many owners of this machine are risking burns and possible fires expecting that the machine will turn off automatically when it does not! This Chinese-made product, with its FALSE claims, should be immediately recalled. It takes little investigation and a simple call to Bella to confirm.
