The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Instant Vortex Plus 7-in-1 Air Fryer, Toaster Oven, and Rotisserie Oven, 10 Quart, 7 Programs, Air Fry, Rotisserie, Roast, Broil, Bake, Reheat, and Dehydrate

I received the InstantPot Vortex Plus 10 QT air fryer oven as a gift for Christmas. I used it twice and as I was cleaning the inside of the oven around the top edge my finger ran across a very sharp metal ridge that sliced my finger open. This happened on the 29th of December 2019 and I had to go to the urgent care and received 5 stitches in my right hand index finger. After posting on several Facebook Vortex Plus pages it appears that there have been many injuries from cleaning the inside of this oven. I think this is a dangerous design flaw and not just a defect in my machine.
