The product, in the report: Brand: Toshiba Model Number: AC25CEW-BS Serial Number: 347A792310307061500143 Countertop toaster oven
Toshiba Model AC25CEW-BS experienced a catastrophic thermal failure of the upper heating elements. While in use, the elements underwent severe physical deformation, sagging significantly from their original horizontal position. This structural failure creates an immediate fire hazard and a high risk of electrical shock, as the energized elements are in danger of contacting the metal food rack or the unit’s internal chassis. The unit was being used for standard household food preparation at the time of the incident.
