The product, in the report: Perko Model PK570L 70 liter convection oven
At 6:00am this morning, my family was awakened to the sound of exploding glass. Jumping from our beds, we investigated the source of such a noise and were puzzled to discover that the door of our Perko model PK570L convection oven had spontaneously shattered. Shards of glass covered our kitchen. While we purchased the unit only 5 months ago, it had stopped working last month. Therefore, the oven had not been used for several weeks. It appears that the glass in the door shattered without cause. We are extremely concerned about this apparent product defect, as such an explosion has the potential to cause grave personal injury.
