The product, in the report: 18 quart Roaster Oven
I own an Elite by Maxi-Matic Platinum 18 quart Roaster Oven with a removable Main Cooking Pan and a high dome Lid with Vent. The Lid has a rolled edge so the lid can be easily and safely cleaned. However, the removeable Main Cooking Pan does not have this rolled edge so when I picked it up out of the Roaster Oven Main Body I received a nasty cut from the side edge of this Cooking Pan. I called the Maxi-Matic Customer Service Department today at [REDACTED] and spoke with [REDACTED] . I asked if the design flaw on this Main Cooking Pan had been corrected so that consumers could handle and clean this edge without being cut. She said that to the best of her knowledge nothing could be changed and that my unit was too old to be replaced under warranty. I told her that I was concerned about the SAFETY of the product. If this design flaw is not corrected consumers will continue to be cut on this edge which is nearly razor sharp.
