The product, in the report: GE Toaster oven sold by Walmart model # 16922017 Has rotisserie function.
GE Toaster oven bought at Walmart model #16922017
I was preheating the oven to 450 on bake.
Bottom front element on the toaster oven glowed brighter than normal (more white hot than red) and heated up the shield until it glowed. Luckily I was in the kitchen and noticed it glowing brightly. I unplugged the unit and let it cool down. The potential for fire is serious. Walmart GE doesn’t seem to be concerned with complaints or comments regarding the potential fire danger. So I am reporting it here.
