Crux toaster air fryer malfunctioned and then had a flash flame inside the right, back upper corner. It caught fire. I was not using butter or oils. I was baking fish.

I burnt my fingers. Crux Digital 6 Slice Air Fryer Toaster Oven 14805, Created for Macy’s There is a handle that is used to open the access door. When you pull the door open it rotates on a bottom hinge and goes from the vertical position (closed) to the horizontal position (open) and the handle lays flat on the counter. From this position there is no way to grab the handle, forcing you to reach between the handle and the door and lift up on the door. This contact point has a metal strip that is pressed up against the glass door. It offers no insulation from the heat. So when you close the door you burn your fingers.

I purchased a Crux Air Fryer Toaster Oven and noticed it got hot when we used it. Last week it was pulling so much electricity while warming up that it popped a circuit breaker. I tried to unplug it and burned my hand because the plug and cord were hot and melty. My finger left a mark on the melted plastic/rubber plug.
