The product, in the report: Cosori Smart Air Fryer Toaster Oven
Hello, I own a Cosori Smart Air Fryer/Toaster Oven that I received as compensation for a previous recall of another one of their products that was deemed dangerous and subjected to a recall. The item I have now (it is barely 2 years old) has started making an extremely loud noise when I start it sometimes and I have to unplug it to stop the noise. I fear that this item has the potential to be dangerous because the sound it makes is nothing I have ever heard. The model # is AO-RXB and the B/N # is OFUS0002972122.
UPDATED ON 12/30/2025: [Regarding the “risk of harm” issue, please allow me to elaborate. The smart air fryer/toaster oven issue has gotten worse. Now, the very loud noise and inability to shut it off has gotten much worse. Please see attached video. This video was shot after the machine was turned off by pulling the plug. The machine cannot be shut off by the “off” button and does not shut off after pulling the plug. Instead, when I pull the plug, the outlet starts sparking and I am afraid of getting burned and/or causing a fire. No appliance should have to be turned off at the plug and cause sparking and the smell of smoke at the outlet. This appliance is only 2 years old and barely out of warranty. I obtained this item as an exchange on a recall and this is no better. Also, there are discussions of this exact smart air fryer with the same issues I am having on the internet, so this is not an isolated incident. ]

No one hurt Made Aug 7, 2023, sent to the company Aug 9, 2023, published by CPSC Aug 23, 2023
The product, in the report: Cosori, smart air fryer toaster oven. Model : CS130-AO series Stainless steel 32qt
This is about the Cosori Smart air fryer toaster oven. I am affraid my cat will burn down my house. Touching slightly any knob or button turns it on, I have bumped it and it turned on. Unbelievably easy to turn on. There is no power button, it is impossible to turn off. It automatically shuts off in thirty minutes, what a waste of electricity, hopefully I or my cat does not bump it again. It does not make since how easy it is to turn on by accident and not being able to turn it off. This is the most dangerous thing on my property.

The product, in the report: Cosori Original Airfryer Toaster Oven 120 v 60Hz 1800w AC only
I had just turned on my Cosori Airfryer toaster oven to preheat it. Within a minute or two I heard a pop and the oven stopped preheating. I looked all around and when I looked in the back of the unit I found the plug melted.
