The product, in the report: Chefman 10-in-1 Stainless Steel French Door Toaster Oven Air Fryer Purchased at Sams Club in Auburn, AL 26 Qt. Capacity Dimensions: 13.8 inches x 16.9 inches x 16.1 inches Item # 990420905

I was cooking dinner in my Chefman 10-in-1 Stainless Steel French Door Toaster Oven Air Fryer that I purchased at Sams Club. When the timer went off, I went to open the metal French door handles. I reached with my right hand to first open the right side metal French door. My knuckle grazed the back of the door handle. My skin was singed off after contact. I had to turn off the air fryer by unplugging it by the cord because the knob to turn on off and all other buttons were scorching hot too. I received a third degree burn which is now waxy, translucent, and leathery with no sensation to the skin. Once the air fryer cooled down, I had to go back and peel my charred flesh off the metal door handle. I was horrified that this happened to me, but am beyond thankful it happened to me and not my young children.

The product, in the report: Chefman air fryer and toaster oven. stainless steel.

I bought the Chefman toaster oven and air fryer at the Ollie’s Zephyrhills store. This week it literally caught on fire. I didn’t have anything greasy in there and had I not been near it when it happened this could have set my whole house on fire.

There were flames on the inside of the oven and then the rubber strip inside the oven caught on fire and ignited the flames. The inside of the door melted. Opening the door only gave the flames more oxygen, making it worse so I had to cover the space between the door and bottom of the oven where the door opens to suffocate the fire. My house has this awful burning rubber smell.
