The product, in the report: Anova Precision Oven, model: AN900-10, serial number: AN900-US00-12340920.
I have a very serious situation with an ANOVA Precision Oven, and I believe the issue was not properly taken care of by ANOVA’s customer service. I provided photos of the melted bottom of my oven and a picture of the burn spot on my countertop caused by the oven. I also provided infrared temperature readings I took of the bottom of the oven and my countertop, both in excess of 220 degrees. There was zero concern that their product, if continued to be used, may cause a house fire. Especially when the oven can be started remotely, and no one would be home to detect any initial problems. All that was offered was a 40% discount on a replacement. Why would I spend more money with a company that clearly has no regard for human safety.
