Hurt, care not known Made Jul 14, 2023, sent to the company Jul 18, 2023, published by CPSC Aug 1, 2023
The product, in the report: Cuisinart Smart Stick Immersion Blender (corded) , Model # CSB-179, SN 3121BN, date of purchase 7.11.22
I own a Cuisinart Smart Stick Immersion Blender (corded) which is exactly one year old. The cord, where it joins the blender, deteriorated and cracked, exposing both wires. I discovered this when the exposed wires contacted my wrist, and gave me a moderate shock. I will note that the blender has been well cared for, and the cord has not been unduly stressed.
