The product, in the report: A portable personal blender for smoothies, it is on Amazon sold by Pashengus under the Amazon storefront name of Paisgenkeji. Seller/Business resides in China and is registered on Amazon as “Business Name: shen zhen shi pa sheng ke ji you xian gong si” and sells various types of electric blenders/kitchen tools. This product was listed on the Amazon Vine program for consumers to use and review and is available to the public. The product information is as follows - Color: Light Black (also comes in White and Blue) Special Feature: Lightweight, One-handed Drinking, Portable, USB Rechargeable Capacity: 500 Milliliters Product Dimensions: 7”D x 2.7”W x 3”H Material: Stainless Steel Item functionality is detailed as “Convenient and Fast - Mini Blender features a simple one-touch operation: just press the button to activate the powerful 300W motor and four-blade system, quickly blending your ingredients into smooth juice in seconds. Designed for ease and portability, this easy-to-use Mini Blender is the perfect portable juice cup for enjoying fresh, healthy drinks anytime, anywhere” Another detail listed on it’s safety makes a claim reporting it is equipped with an enhanced protection system - “Enhanced Protection System - Our advanced smoothie blender is designed with a smart safety feature that automatically halts operation the moment the cup is separated from the base unit, ensuring your safety and peace of mind during use. Perfect for families who prioritize both efficiency and safety in their kitchen appliances”. The charging port is covered by a silicone flap with the port on bottom and the power button above it. The flap opens to charge and once the cable is removed, it closes and you can press the power button(double click to power it up). It is designed with a Quick Charge system of 3-4 hours of charge time. There is no off button or switch, it simply idles out. For safety it also will not blend/start if there is no blender cup attached, but that leaves the blades exposed if you’ve made a smoothie and are using the cup. You also cannot clean/wash the blades unless you use their self cleaning feature by adding a little water with soap and blending it clean. The blades are not surrounded by anything and are completely exposed, allowing leftover liquid to drip down on to it’s power port due to the silicone flap being just a cover without adequate closure. This product includes baby food making in it’s versatile use, along with it being portable and usable at an office, the gym, or anywhere outdoors.
Portable blender started smoking and sparking by the power button and USB-C port.
