The product, in the report: Mainstays Black Single-Serve Blender with 1 Travel Lid, 16 oz. Manufacturer part number MS61100016716. Model number MS61100016716
Hello, I was using a personal blender the Msinstay 16oz personal blender from Walmart to make a smoothie. The blender started to smell like it was burning and smoke was coming from underneath. As I was looking under the blender to see if there was a fire, a bunch of hard plastic and a white substance came shooting out into my eye, and face. I immediately rinsed my eyes and face after the incident. My face and eyes continued to burn and felt scratchy, so I went to [REDACTED] later on that day when they opened. I was told by the Dr. At [REDACTED] that I had debri in my eyes that would require them having to pluck the plastic and the other matter from my eye. The Dr. Said my eyes are very scratched and the damage may be permanent. I do have some vision loss, and will find out on Wednesday if the vision loss and other damages are permanent. As for the facial damage, I have to see the Dr. Tomorrow to see what they are suggesting next. I also have to see an Optometrist on Wednesday.
