The product, in the report: Infantino ‘peppy puree’ food processor.

I have an infantino baby food blender. It was purchased as a gift when my son was born in September 2015. I have been using it several times a week for 4 months now. I have followed all care instructions correctly (eg hand washing after each use... I have never put it in the dishwasher). Today I blended up some food for my baby (soft food... Peas & meat) & fed him the food. He ate every bit. After I had fed him I took the blade out to clean the parts & found that the plastic center tube of the blender bowl was broken & shards of plastic were missing!!! The only place these could have gone were into the food which my baby ate! I called our Tricare triage nurse who advised me to take my baby to be checked out at the ER. He had to have an x-ray etc & was prodded & poked but we have been told he is ok & should pass the small bits of plastic okay. Clearly though I am very shocked & upset about this!
