The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

The product, in the report: Handy Gourmet RevMix

The product is a single serving blender that runs on a rechargeable battery - Handy Gourmet RevMix. The product doesn’t work well, and whats worse is that the blade will run without being covered. It seems way too easy to accidentally turn it on with the blade exposed, with a simple push of a button. I cant believe this product is even on the market.

The product, in the report: RevMix for smoothies & shakes on the go. Battery operated smoothie maker. Color: Black

I recently bought a smoothie maker at local “Home Goods” store named “revmix” by “Handy Gourmet” brand. The smoothie maker is battery operated and can be turned on without being plugged in. The device turns on with completely exposed blades, when plastic cup of the smoothie maker is removed. The problem is especially bad since blades are not removable and can only be washed while on the device, making it very easy to turn on while the blades directly handled.
