The product, in the report: Blender Purchase date 2016???
I noticed upon drinking plastic pieces in my drink, very sharp pieces from disc that fell into drink!!!
(04/27/2022) The consumer was drinking a mixture of fruit that he had blended. He felt something in his mouth. He initially thought it was glass. When he poured the mixture out, he discovered that there were plastic pieces that had come from the disk that is underneath the lid. The disk had fallen off while he was using the blender.
The consumer contacted the firm. He was offered a new replacement lid and a coupon with a discount.
See attached “new” lid, without the bottom splash-guard that came off and I swallowed pieces of!!!
- Because they’re trying to avoid lawsuit??
- Attached picture of received :replacement” top. Without the underside plastic that broke off into blender!!!

The product, in the report: Die cast metal base, 48 oz clear plastic jar, 5 speed control, black lid with removal center, stainless steel ice crushing blades, LCD display, surgical grade stainless steel blades Model: the Hemispher Serial # BBL605XL Batch # 1352
I purchased a Greville Hemisphere blender on or about 2015 and yesterday, right after I powered it on and selected the blend option Ice crush, is lit into fire sparks and burned out. From what I can see, it burned the GFI, the lights in the living room, the modem, router and two protector surges. I had to move out of the sparks way from hitting because it shot forward. My internet and phone have been down since. I will not be able to have internet or phone service until the modem and router is replaced.
