The product, in the report: All-Clad KZ750D Stainless Steel Immersion Blender with Detachable Shaft and Variable Speed Control Dial, 600-Watts, Silver
I was using this product to blend a “smoothie” - milk, almonds, frozen berries, and oatmeal. When I had nearly finished my drink - I noticed, narrowly avoiding drinking it into my mouth, a big piece of broken blade! Clearly this could have been a very serious incident had I swallowed it or even if it ended up in my mouth. A lot of people use these products to prepare food for children, who may not have had the presence of mind to notice the sharp metal object in their food.
