The product, in the report: Dishwasher
Caller had his baby in his arms while walking into kitchen, dishwasher had been running maybe about 30 minutes. He heard a popping noise, looked toward dishwasher and saw a fireball approximately One and a half to two feet coming from the underside of the control panel. He gave the baby to his sister, opened the dishwasher noting that water went everywhere, dishes had not finished but he emptied from the dishwasher and tried to turn dishwasher off, it would go off. He ran to the circuit breaker, thought he turned power off but when he came back the dishwasher was still running so he ran back, turned circuit breaker power off to entire house & came back in then. This time when he returned to the house everything was turned off. He then went back inside, disconnected hard wire then turned breakers back on for rest of house. Caller would like to request replacement of dishwasher at manufacturers expense.
