The product, in the report: Dishwasher: stainless steel inside, outside white, standard size. The connector box came with the unit.
My Bosch dishwasher electrical box started to burn (I could smell the burning plastic). I disconnected the power source (circuit breaker). I contacted the company, but my model is not yet on their recall list.

The product, in the report: A Bosch Silent 44db model with hidden controls. Bosch SHP65T55UC/02 Ser. # FD931003437, the stainless steel version
This is in regards to the Bosch Dishwasher recall in late 2017 concerning the chance of fire due to the power box/cord. Our dishwasher is a Bosch SHP65T55UC/02 Ser. # FD931003437. This unit was covered by the recall and subsequently retrofitted with the recall kit by the Bosch approved appliance repair company in our area, [REDACTED], Joliet, IL 60431. On this past Monday, Jan 6, the dishwasher just stopped working with the appearance of no power. Called out our preferred appliance repair company who diagnosed the problem as a defective power module. He returned yesterday with the part and replaced it. Upon further inspection and now looking at the power box (subject of previous recall) was shocked at the burning and scorching of the box and wires. He stated that in all likelihood this blew out the power module and saved us from an all out fire. The circuit breaker did not trip since this was a slow overload. Bosch was contacted and offered to send out a new power box but declined to pay for the damaged circuit board, a not insubstantial about (~$430 w/ installation). I have pictures detailing the damage. It seems the recall did nothing and the problem still exists What guarantee do we have that this will not occur again?
