The product, in the report: Dishwasher
Caller purchased all new appliances and all are fine with the exception of the dishwasher which can be opened by his 18 month old baby who can open the unit while it is running. He is afraid that she may become burned by the hot steam and the water. He said that it does not open with the force of the water running while it is washing dishes but if the baby pulls the door it does come open. He is reporting this as a severe burn and potential scald hazard There are no injuries being reported at this time He has contacted the manufacturer and spoke with [REDACTED] who advised him that this is the way the unit is built and that there is nothing that can be done.
