The product, in the report: Can oponer -- battery operater

On 12/25/2011, the consumer recently purchased a can opener (Battery operated). The consumer stated that first time use can bound up half way around the can, there is a reverse button on the can but it failed to work, he finally had to cut the can to release it from the can opener then had to pry the remaining piece from the can opener and cutting the palm of his right hand. Remedy at home.

On 12/26/2011, the consumer wife tried to use it the day after and it did the same thing, the consumer had to repeat the release of the can but this time the consumer used a OvGlove to protect his hand, there was still a piece of metal left in the can.

The consumer had not contacted the mfr because he could not found any contact information for this firm.
