  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Nov 1, 2020, sent to the company Nov 10, 2020, published by CPSC Nov 25, 2020

The product, in the report: EGOFINE Popcorn Maker Red, white, black; roughly 10x6 MODEL: QHK1003-01 Box barcode sticker#: LPN PM 19469 4968. The box barcode has been covered by a barcode sticker that cannot be removed easily. It looks like the original# was 00112DUSN

I purchased a popcorn popper on eBay that has been subsequently fully refunded. I could not locate a website but I see a similar looking product selling on [redacted]. When I plugged it in and turned the product on the product off-gassed a plastic smell that gave me a headache. I turned the machine off, waited 30 minutes and turned the product back on for 4 minutes. The plastic was hot to touch. There was a very strong smell covering my apartment and I needed to open the windows to remove the air with a fan. 1 hour later I still have a headache.
