  1. No one hurt

Made Oct 28, 2012, sent to the company Dec 5, 2012, published by CPSC Dec 27, 2012

The product, in the report: Glass shower doors, consisting of two sliding doors, attached at the top rail by a rolling mechanism. This was installed by a contractor who purchased the doors from Ken Caryl Glass in Colorado. We do not have a model number or any other information.

Seventeen days after installation, a glass shower door shattered. This happened after I had opened the door to look inside and then closed it. Upon closure, the door shattered into many, many pieces, most landing inside the shower, but many falling out onto the floor. Fortunately, this did not happen when someone was inside the shower, so no injuries occurred.
