The product, in the report: Patio Door by Plygem/American Craftman series Architectural Series Double entry door right, 74x80, Glass strength =tempered #1. The door is steel with a sand enamel coating
I purchased a patio door through the Home Depot. The door was made by Plygem/American Craftsman division. After purchasing the door and a new lockset after instillation it was apparent the door required a levered outside lockset as I shut my finger in the door trying to close it from the out side. The purchased lockset made the outside knob almost up against the frame making it almost impossible to shut the door from the outside in any normal manner. There should have been a warning about this with the door and the installer should have noted this problem. I have sent a complaint to the company but received not response. As of this date the complete install has not been done on the door.
