  1. No incident, no one hurt

Made Apr 13, 2024, sent to the company Apr 23, 2024, published by CPSC May 7, 2024

The product, in the report: The product is a garden shed that is sold by Walmart.com. It comes in a package about 2’x4’. The shed comes in multiple pieces. The part that caused the injury was on of the many metal panels that make up the side walls.

I purchased this product from Walmart.com for my boyfriend’s birthday: https://www.walmart.com/ip/6-x-4-Outdoor-Metal-Storage-Shed-Tools-Galvanized-Steel-Garden-Shed-Lockable-Doors-Backyard-Patio-Lawn-D8311/1882731733

There were no warning labels on the packaging. Per the instructions, I laid the shed pieces out on the lawn to assemble. My dog came over to say hi. He stepped on the edge of one of the MANY thin metal pieces that make up the shed. The edge of the metal piece sliced through the pad of his paw, splitting it from under the nail to the back of the pad. I bandaged it, as it was late in the evening. The next day however, it was very obvious that he needed stitches for the wound. I took him to the vet and incured a $1063 vet bill to fix his paw. Dog’s paw pads are very thick and tough. Had this been stepped on by a child, it would have caused an even more sever injury.
