The product, in the report: 16’ wide x 8’ high overhead garage door
I purchased an overhead garage door in 2011 manufactured by Garaga. Since the door was installed, 5 (five) of the thermopane windows have imploded, most recently on 12/17/14. The local dealer (North Country Garage Doors, Inc.) has ordered replacement windows to replace the broken ones but they have so far rebuffed my attempts at resolving the real issue which is these windows are DEFECTIVE! Some of the imploded windows were in fact replacements, so the manufacturer is replacing defective windows with more defective windows. Over time, the windows come under vacuum pressure, possibly due to loss (or absorption by the dessicant used) of the inert gas that they are charged with at manufacture. The glass becomes visibly concave as the vacuum pressure increases and eventually they implode, scattering glass shards for several yards. I sent the manufacturer (Garaga) an email on 12/17/14 detailing the problem but got no response.
