The product, in the report: Garage door

Caller purchased a metal building from Eagle builders (commercial garage door) that didn’t come with a garage opener. He stated that he purchased the garage opener from another company because the door is not made strong enough. The end of the garage door barrel is not made to support the bolt causing the chain to come off, this can cause the door to close on the user causing serious injuries.

Caller stated that he contacted the door manufacturer and he was informed that he was informed that someone would contact him.

Caller feels that this door presents a safety hazard and should be reported.
