  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Mar 25, 2015, sent to the company Apr 20, 2015, published by CPSC May 4, 2015

The product, in the report: Bison building supply MDF particle board

Bison Building Supply MDF particle board was used 1 week ago in children’s bedroom to create a wall unit and closet space that is 24 inches by 18 feet. since the product was used in the home, myself and my kids have had difficulty walking into the room without burning eyes and throat, and 3 out of 5 family members have come down with headaches and flu-like symptoms., it is impossible to stand in the room, let alone sleep in the room with this material. i have called and left a message for the manager at bison building supply to call me back regarding further heath and safety information for children living and sleeping for 8 hrs a night around this material and have not rec’d a response back yet. I believe this product that is being sold at Bison does not meet health and safety standards if this material is causing such a reaction. Furthermore, the contractor that built the structure also reported in sick on 3/24/15 and he has had the most contact with this product. It is like having ‘tear-gas’ in the home. Please help me review if this particle board that Bison Building Supply in Houston Texas meets safety standards!
