The product, in the report: Door mounted foot pull. Trade name StepNPull. It is a metal device mounted at the bottom of the pull side of a door. The device is rigid and projects from the door 2-3 inches with a metal fin device. The mounting of the unit can create a foot/toe entrapment when opening the door.
StepNPull foot door pull injured my wife when opening a door to a business. The door pull is mounted an inch or so above bottom of door and it projects outward 2-3 inches. When opening the door her foot was caught between the foot door pull and shoe. It tore the flesh and nail from her toe. When getting a tetanus booster for the injury, the local pharmacist stated she had given tetanus boosters for similar foot door pull injuries recently.
