The product, in the report: Emtek passage lever (non-lockable door handle on a toilet room door). It looks a lot like this: https://emtek.com/passage-privacy-levers/cimarron-lever
The Emtek door handle failed such that it trapped me inside a bathroom. The door could not be opened and I could not exit. The door handle was being used normally. No injuries but if there wasn’t a window in the bathroom, I would not be able to escape or get help.
