The product, in the report: The product is an OutSunny brand 15 foot octagonal gazebo made of an aluminum structure and sheet metal canopy. It was purchased through Amazon. Fortunately, no one was injured during our attempt to assemble the product. However, there are 32 sheet metal panels with sharp edges and sharp points that are supposed to slip into grooves on rail rafters and be held in place by 48 plastic shims. The instructions do not explain how to accomplish this and the panels continually slip out and fall. We developed an assembly procedure but realized that even if the canopy were fully assembled, the shims are very unlikely to hold the panels in their grooved rails when there are wind gusts or accumulated snow that will bow the panels and pull their edges out the grooves along with the little shims. As projectiles, these panels would be very dangerous. We returned the product.
