The product, in the report: This product is a 12x14 hardtop gazebo marketed as a heavy-duty permanent outdoor structure. It was assembled in late August in Massachusetts and experienced complete structural roof collapse during normal seasonal snow conditions during its first winter of use. The support frame bent and roof panels failed despite proper installation and active snow removal. The collapse created a significant safety hazard in a residential deck area regularly used by occupants and pets. The manufacturer declined warranty coverage and advised replacement parts could be purchased at the consumers expense. This structural failure under foreseeable weather conditions raises safety and durability concerns.
