The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: portable scafflod, work table, push cart

I was working on a UST Work-A-Round scafflod when the weld holding the right front leg and caster broke. I was pitched forward and fell to the floor. I couldn’t remove my body from the collapsing unit since my feet were caught and bent backwards within the unit.

I went to the ER and had x-rays of my feet, ankles, knees and wrists. I had a broken big toe and later lost that nail and much tissue damage and swelling to my lower legs and feet. I also had tingling from my knees to my toes and also to my wrists. I used crutches for one week to get around since I couldn’t put my weight on my lower legs or feet.
