The product, in the report: avila valencia sapelli laminated flooring

Consumer stated that according to the news aired on CBS 60 minutes about excessive formaldehyde in laminated flooring sold by Lumber Liquidators, he believes that his product might be affected.

The laminated flooring was installed in the consumer’s apartment on 02/03/15. The flooring is in the office room.

Consumer also believes that the health hazards may be present as well because he has noticed similar symptoms of those mentioned on the news since installation (symptoms included scratchy throat, runny nose, occasional loss of voice, imbalance, insomnia, and questionable loss of short term memory).

On 02/21/15 (estimated) the consumer spent 10 hours in his office and the next day he lost his voice. The consumer states he felt very ill while he was in his office and since that day has limited his time in his office.

The consumer contacted FloorXperts regarding his symptoms. The consumer states he did not ask for assistance nor was he offered assistance.

The consumer called his physician about his insomnia. The consumer submitted blood work but the physician told the consumer that the results did not show what could be causing his insomnia.
