The product, in the report: Bamboo Engineered Flooring

The consumer says the product’s MSDS sheet had formaldehyde level listed at -.0135PPM. The consumer says the product has 10 times more formaldehyde than what is listed. After installation she smelled a strong odor in the house. She says that she has had eyes burning, choking, muscle spasms, and unexplained rapid heart rate. She had gotten a piece of the flooring tested by Columbia Analytical Services who determined that there was 150PPM of formaldehyde, along with other chemicals such as benzine, and fluorine. She contacted the manufacturer who told her she has to file a report with the distributor she got it from. The consumer is still living in the home stating that she has no where else to go.
